Brown Construction, Inc. will lead the construction of the 224-unit, 243,000-square foot project, which includes nine 1- to 3-story buildings comprising 14 independent living cottages, 130 independent living apartments, 60 assisted living units, and 20 memory care units which will be operated by Sagora Senior Living, a premier national senior living operator. Sagora's website says its communities are an example of "the way retirement living should be," where "residents can expect luxurious accommodations and innumerable amenities and services."
"I am extremely excited to be part of the team that will bring this community to life," says Brown's project manager, Kent Keller. "Projects like this are why my team and I got into construction, to be able to provide a high-end facility like this to the senior community in Rocklin is a great feeling."
There is a lot of work ahead for Kent and his team, and Northern California residents can watch as this sizeable construction project comes to life in the hills along Highway 65. The community has a projected open date of late winter/early spring 2019.
